  29. Ok, let's get this cleared up once and for all.  ESCOM's new CEO stated 
  30. that in due to thier financial lossed, they were going to focus on their 
  31. PC line, which means that AT would have no future with ESCOM anymore.  So 
  32. when a certain company that already had an interest in the Amiga 
  33. (VIScorp) heard this, they jumped at the oportunity to rescue the 
  34. machine.  Sure they want to use the tech, but they also want to remain 
  35. compatable with Amiga (one of the primary justifications for buying it is 
  36. that it has a good developer base).  They have also said that AT will 
  37. continue to exist and make machine, including new ones, IE PPC.  They 
  38. said they have no plans to interfere with AT's operations.
