- Ok, let's get this cleared up once and for all. ESCOM's new CEO stated
- that in due to thier financial lossed, they were going to focus on their
- PC line, which means that AT would have no future with ESCOM anymore. So
- when a certain company that already had an interest in the Amiga
- (VIScorp) heard this, they jumped at the oportunity to rescue the
- machine. Sure they want to use the tech, but they also want to remain
- compatable with Amiga (one of the primary justifications for buying it is
- that it has a good developer base). They have also said that AT will
- continue to exist and make machine, including new ones, IE PPC. They
- said they have no plans to interfere with AT's operations.
